Step by step, how to make it? (8 steps)

  • 1 and 2. steps: First "ribbon" the hair between your thumb and the comb so the strands are straight and tense.
  • 3, 4 and 5. steps: Choose what size the curl will be and wrapit around something (like your finger) to get the round shape. Slip the hair off of the finger to roll it toward the scalp. With some practice, you will be able to form a pin curl by just connecting the end of the hair to the hair strads and forming the curl free-hand.
  • 6. step: Roll the pin curl towards the scalp. Keep the hair held snugly between your thumbs and index finger.
  • 7 and 8. steps: The finished pin curl sites against the scalp and a hairpin is inserted to hold it in place.
